GoodWe announces to join the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) as a leading renewable energy corporation, and determines to stand align with its ten principles in environment, labour, human rights and anti-Corruption sectors.
Since its establishment, GoodWe has been taking renewable energy development as its mission and driving force. It is committed to improving human living environment and creating a new era of intelligent energy.
TheUNGCis a United Nations organizationwhich encourages global businesses and organizations to adopt sustainable andsocially responsibleconcepts and practices. It is also the world’s largest corporate social responsibility initiative with 13000 participants and stakeholders from over 170 countries. The UNGC was announced by then UN Secretary-General Kofi Annanin 1999, and officially launched in New York City in 2000.
As a new member of UNGC, GoodWe will collaborate with other members and partners to promote renewable energy development and cope with climate change. In order to respond to the global sustainable development agenda, GoodWe will abide by the ten principles, implement various UNGC initiatives and promote sustainable corporate practice. Facing the wave of carbon neutral, renewable energy plays a vital role in establishing an innovative energy framework for future. Becoming a part of UNGC represents that GoodWe is taking another big step in creating a new era of intelligent energy.
